Inclusion Festival: a sensory-friendly music and wellness festival for ALL

We are incredibly grateful for the love and support of our Inclusion Festival community for helping us to co-create a safe and supportive space where humans of all abilities and identities gathered to experience music, connection, learning, and fun since 2018.

While we have both loved our roles as festival producers, fundraising continues to be very challenging. In order to continue on in a sustainable way, we have decided that 2024 will be a year for Inclusion Festival to reflect, regroup, and figure out what’s next. During this pause, we will continue to focus on many of the year-round programs we have co-created to support our mutual mission of accessibility and inclusion for all abilities. Inclusion Festival is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all. We are continually listening and learning from the disabled community in order to improve the user experience for everyone, and striving to exceed accessibility standards. At this time, there is no “one size fits all” solution. We have taken measures to ensure our website is coded to work optimally with assistive technology for users with visual, auditory, and physical disabilities. We also choose to offer an overlay with functions like color and size adjustments, text highlighting, and more for neurodiverse users and those with cognitive disabilities.
