Inclusion Festival is an accessible music and wellness festival for everyone! Designed to accommodate all ages and abilities, Inclusion Festival features sensory-friendly and empowering live music, immersive experiences, and a large variety of educational and recreational workshops.
This year’s event will take place on July 15-17, 2022 with daily programming from 11am to 11pm on July 15th and July16th.
EDUCATIONAL AND WELLNESS WORKSHOPS
The workshop opportunities available at Inclusion Festival feature local and regional experts passionate about making a difference in the lives of those impacted by developmental differences. Each workshop provides tangible strategies and suggestions that can be incorporated into daily routines to improve individual and family dynamics, functional capacities, and meaningful participation across life experiences. Topics presented include movement and recreation, health and wellness, learning and communication strategies, sensory support, advocacy and more.
IMMERSIVE, EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES
Learning outcomes are strongest and most powerful when participants are engaged in meaningful, enjoyable activities presented in a safe, supportive space. Inclusion Festival will offer a variety of joyful, experience-based educational and recreational activities tailored to the sensory and learning needs of individuals who are differently abled.
Activities available will include: yoga, meditation, massage, circus arts, creative movement, nature walks, arts and crafts, story telling, sing-alongs, drumming, and more.
Additionally, there will be numerous sensory-friendly art installations, calm down spaces, and free-play zones.
Music is a universal language with healing powers hat are well-documented in historical and scientific literature. Inclusion Festival features a full line-up of talented, compassionate local and regional music artists committed to providing a positive, sensory-friendly experience to all participants. The music featured will represent a variety of styles and genres to ensure that there is something for everyone.

Workshop providers and speakers share relatable stories, offer validation and encouragement, communicate effective ways to shift understanding and acceptance, and provide powerful tools for strengthening relationships, community involvement, and overall wellness.

The opportunity to learn about available local resources and products, relevant to those living with special needs is an essential component of building community and supporting others throughout each year. At Inclusion Festival, participants sample, experience, purchase, and learn more about a wide array of services and products that may support optimal health and well-being.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR
Inclusion Festival is committed to making a difference in the lives of participants both on and off the festival grounds. Research shows that families impacted by special needs are happier and healthier with access to support networks. By connecting families and individuals with local resources, educators, and agencies, we aim to empower those seeking support to develop the relationships needed to live happy, fulfilling lifestyles all year round.
Local and regional specialists representing a variety of therapeutic disciplines attend Inclusion Festival and are available to offer consultation and recommendations for families seeking suggestions and support. Specialists include speech language therapists, special education teachers, art therapists, music therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, yoga instructors, and more.
VOCATIONAL AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteering is a meaningful, rewarding way to participate in a cause that resonates. At Inclusion Festival there are numerous opportunities to get involved, show support, and contribute to the success of our event and year-round initiatives. Additionally, vocational coaches are available to guide participants with special needs to contribute. These opportunities afford individuals with developmental differences the opportunity to strengthen self-esteem while learning and practicing essential life skills.
